A commoner is the raw material of the tribe. Push his health to 70 and he turns into a muscle man, push his attack to 70 and he turns into a warrior. The constructor never fights, he builds.

Trained in their own buildings and, unlike wild animals, they belong to a tribe and grow like people do.

Nobody owns these. They are the food supply and the danger at once: the food column is what a carcass is worth, and a tyrannosaurus is worth a thousand.

Two beasts the authors never drew

The original game data has stats, food value and growth caps for the Brachiosaurus and the Daemon, but their sprites in the archive are empty 1×1 placeholders and no map ever places them. We drew them for the port: a 3D model built from the game's own art, animated and shot from the in-game camera in all eight directions, then reduced to the original palette — same size scale, same shadows, same selection frame as every other unit. They follow the original rules for wild beasts and are not part of the campaign yet; for now they live on a test scene.

Daemon. Red horned demon from the final cutscene, bone belt and horn armour. Strikes with both fists clasped into a hammer, claws ablaze.
Brontosaurus. A massive grey-olive sauropod with wrinkled elephant-like skin, longer than the tyrannosaurus. Rises a little on its hind legs and lunges forward onto its front feet; the tail swings the other way as a counterweight.

Each building has its own production list and price in food. The Sanctuary is the heart of a camp: it makes constructors and everything a young tribe needs, and losing it usually ends the game.

Growth caps

Every stat has a ceiling that depends on the tribe and the unit type. The default block looks like this:
